Amani Willett was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 1975. At an early age he moved from Africa to Cambridge, Massachusetts. Amani has been working in New York as a photographer since 1998. His photographs have been widely comissioned, published and exhibited. He has done extensive work with NGOs including the the Soros Foundation and the United Nations project on Children’s Rights.
