The late Guy Bourdin was a French photographer best known for his work for French Vogue from the mid fifties to the mid eighties and for his lauded work for the shoe company, Charles Jourdan. A disconcerting surrealism perverted his work. They were always graphically strong with a weired sense of alienation.
